1. Pool Stains Only Worsen Over Time

Over time, pools can become discolored for a variety of reasons, including normal wear and tear, chemical, minerals in the water, and leaves and lawn debris. Stains make your pool appear unsanitary, and can often mask important signs of corrosion or other problems, such as algae growth, leaks or other unhealthy conditions. An experienced pool contractor can treat pool stains according to their cause, and can even resurface the entire pool so it looks brand new.

2. Existing Pool Surface is Eroding

Quality pool resurfacing materials last a long time, but not forever. If you discover signs that the existing pool surface is eroding, then this is an important time to resurface your swimming pool.
